We'll be headed west for the next 2 weeks to the Grand Tetons and western Idaho! Camping in the mountains has always been a favorite thing but doing it in the Fall is especially exciting! I hope to see some fresh snow in the Tetons and we'll also be Plein Air painting in Eagle, Idaho. Watch for new paintings to appear in the coming weeks!

My next show is this up coming Saturday in Golden Valley. I have paintings, prints, greeting cards, and 2 baskets full of sale paintings. (I'm an old women who lives in a shoe and has so many paintings she doesn't know what to do!) Come and enjoy the festivities!

This is my first attempt at painting a nocturne! The subject matter was the most fun because this was our first night in Provincial France! Unfortunately, we got in late and the cafe's were all closed, but this picture was worth the trip! Remember to visit my booth at the Northfield River Arts Festival September 6 & 7. After I finished this painting, I looked at it and thought it was rather boring! So I reworked it adding more color to the trees. I'm much happier with the results! It's 9 x 12 inches, $250 including the frame. I will be bringing these new paintings to my next show at the Jesse James reenactment festival in Northfield, MN Sept 6 & 7. The summer travel season is here! Every year we plan a special trip. Last year we camped in eastern Idaho! What you see here is a painting of the Grand Tetons looking east from the Idaho side. It's just as beautiful as the Wyoming side but much less crowded. Thus painting is 9x12 inches and price includes a dark gray elegant frame . $350
